GETTING COZY

Everyone! I have missed you. I have missed writing and sharing and connecting.

A lot has happen since I last posted. I finished up Graduate School with a Masters in English from the Ohio Writing Project. It was an amazing three year experience that pushed me and helped me grow in so many ways. 

I moved to fifth grade language arts and social studies from my year in Kindergarten. Ah, Kindergarten. It was a great experience, and I think if I had chosen that grade level earlier on in my career- I know I would have wanted to stick with that change.

My heart is with reading and writing in upper elementary. Even though I'm fully remote for this school year, I am still relieved to be back in this world. I am so happy to be back to sharing books with kids and reading stories from bigger kids.

Hopefully, I'll be back soon to share some of the work we have been doing in the world of remote fifth grade! I hope everyone is staying healthy and well.
